Daily Kos :: Political Analysis and other daily rants on the state of the nation.: "Good morning, Kosopotamians. Today is our day. Final exam. The day some of us here have worked toward since the Supreme Court anointed George Bush America�s president 47 months ago. The day some were beginning to think would never arrive. The day that obsessed some of us so much that, after the results are announced, we will have to reintroduce ourselves to our families, our studies, our other lives.

Today is the day we have to do what our candidate has proved so adept at. We have to close. One more burst making sure that the Democratic-leaning people we met on the phone or at their front door in the past few months get their butts to the polling stations if they haven�t yet done so. Making sure that every voter-suppression effort is halted and/or duly noted. And, of course, making sure we don�t fall into the irony of forgetting to cast our own ballots. "
